Dr. Shelyan completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience at UCLA and then moved to New York City to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University. Dr. Shelyan assures his patients’ comfort from the moment they come into the office until the end of the dental treatment by using various relaxation techniques to ensure a pleasant visit at his office. He believes that anyone at any age should have healthy teeth and a beautiful smile and makes his patients feel good about themselves regardless of their teeth and gum conditions. Dr. Shelyan is an expert at listening to his patients and their concerns and together with the patient, they plan a dental treatment which best benefits the patient’s oral health. He has always been interested in the artistic aspect of his career which is Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Shelyan is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS). He is certified by the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and permitted by California Dental Board to practice Sedation Dentistry.
