Mary Qian DMD

Dr. Mary Qian was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Morris Plains, New Jersey. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She then went on to receive her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Following graduation, she practiced in Boston for 6 years before moving to the Bay Area. They bo...Read Morended over their similar dental philosophies, as well as their common home state of New Jersey. Dr. Boyarsky served as a great role model and mentor to Dr. Qian. When he decided to retire, it was an easy transition for Dr. Qian to take over the office. Dr. Qian is passionate about restorative dentistry and patient care. She regularly travels throughout the country to attend courses and seminars, completing over 100 hours of continuing education a year. Dr. Qian regularly visits Spear and Kois, the two most respected dental education centers in the nation, to stay on top of the latest developments in the field. She strives to stay well informed, in order to deliver the best care possible to her patients. Dr. Qian lives in Mountain View with her husband, Juan. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking cakes and pies, indoor gardening, and riding her Peloton bike. She prides herself on keeping all the plants in the office alive and well. Read Less
