James C. Setterberg, D.D.S.

Dr. James C. Setterberg earned his doctorate from the University of Michigan in 1981. He completed his general practice residency in Minneapolis at the VA Medical Center and taught restorative dentistry at the University of Minnesota Dental School. Dr. Setterberg has been an avid skier for nearly 50 years and is a Past National Ski Patrol Member of 18 years. He also is an outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, cycling and boating. Dr. Setterberg has been actively involved with the community of Glenwood Springs for 30 years. He is devoted to his patients’ total health and well-being, not just dental health. Many of Dr. Setterberg’s patients he has been seeing since their first childhood dental visit. All of his children attended or are attending local public schools. Windie has been a dental assistant since 1995 and has been a key part of Dr. Setterberg’s team since 2001. Sherrie received her Bachelor’s Degree and certificate of Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan in 1979. She acquired certification to administer local anesthesia from the University of Colorado. After moving to Colorado, Sherrie has worked alongside her husband, Dr. Setterberg for 32 years. Previously, she has worked for a Periodontal Group Practice in Minnesota and for a Periodontist in Switzerland. Tiffany graduated from Colorado Northwestern Community College in 1996 with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. Being a Colorado native having grown up on the Western Slope, following graduation she relocated to the Glenwood Springs area, which has since become her established home.
