Dr. Mitchell S. Katz holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He also is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He is an active member of many prominent dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society. Community Involvement Dr. Mitchell Katz grew up in the Simbury area. For many years he played in the Simsbury youth hockey and lacrosse leagues and enjoys giving back to the local programs that gave him so much growing up. Our office is proud sponsors of the Simsbury Lax Boosters, Simsbury High School Football and Basketball, and Patriot Day Golf that benefits the Folds of Honor. Dr. Katz Continuing Education Dr. Katz and his team attend seminars, training programs, and continuing education courses to stay on top of the latest developments. We actively participate in the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry, the Hartford Dental Society and other prominent organizations. " I recently had a dental cleaning at Dr Katz's office with Jennifer. As usual I was greeted immediately when I arrived, the waiting room is newly decorated and comfortable. I had my cleaning and all my questions were answered. Jennifer knows her stuff and always puts me at ease. Dr Katz always stops in for a quick review and was very helpful. A Great experience!
