Dr. Jorge Baujin joined the practice in 1992. He is a graduate of the New Jersey School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a member of the Litchfield Dental Society, The Connecticut State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He has served as president of The Litchfield Dental Society multiple times, and is currently the Peer Review Chairman. Dr. Sergio Sanchez is a qualified dental practitioner who obtained his Dental Degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Dentistry in 2004. After completing his dental program, Dr. Sanchez proceeded to pursue a Diplomaed certification in Dental Esthetics from the School of Peruvian Dentistry. Subsequently, in 2008, he was accepted into the prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Dental Medicin...Read Moree, where he completed two years of residency, followed by an additional AEGD Fellowship in 2011. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Sanchez was appointed as a clinical instructor for the AEGD program at UConn School of Dental Medicine, where he was responsible for providing dental services to Health Care Community Centers. In 2016, Dr. Sanchez was promoted to Assistant Professor and Program Director of the AEGD residency program. Dr. Sanchez's academic and professional achievements are a testament to his dedication and commitment to the dental profession. As Program Director of the AEGD residency program, Dr. Sanchez was tasked with numerous administrative responsibilities, including clinical supervision, teaching, and didactic courses for over 30 residents annually. Additionally, he managed the dental Emergency Services offered at UConn School of Dental Medicine and John Dempsey Hospital. Dr. Sanchez was also responsible for providing dental care to patients with acquired and developmental disabilities in the Operating Room at the John Dempsey Hospital and dental treatment to patients at the UConn SDM faculty practice. In recognition of his exceptional performance, Dr. Sanchez was awarded the Hospital Medical Staff Award of Excellence by John Dempsey Hospital in 2019. Dr. Sanchez was welcomed as a part-time Associate Dentist at our esteemed dental practice located in Torrington, CT, in February of 2021. In 2022, Dr. Sanchez was invited to join our team as a full-time provider and accepted the offer without hesitation. Subsequently, he was presented with a partner position, which he accepted in 2023. Dr. Sanchez is an active member of several professional dental organizations, including the Hartford Dental Society, Connecticut Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Team of Implantology. Dr. Sanchez was born and raised in Peru. When he's not practicing dentistry, he loves spending quality time with his wife and two children.
