Dr. Orphanos is a Board Certified periodontist. He became a periodontist at the young age of 27. He attended Dental School at SUNY Stony Brook and then pursued his specialty training at Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Prusakowski is highly trained endodontic specialist who attended the prestigious post-graduate program at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Prior to specializing in Endodontics he was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, and served for 4 years providing dental care to active duty members of the Navy and Marine Corps. Dr. Prusakowski is a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics, a group of the premiere endodontic clinicians from around the world which meets yearly to promote non-commercial endodontic and scientific continuing education for its membership. He lectures nationally for Orapharma on their anesthetic buffering system and is a member of the Onset Speaker Bureau, to educate dentists and specialists on how to give pain-free and predictable dental anesthesia.
