Dr. Brotman is a native of Baltimore but Jacksonville has always been his second home, first visiting when he was a year old. Sol attended Washington and Lee University and graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School. He received his Certificate in Comprehensive General Dentistry from the University of Florida. Dr. Brotman has lectured to national meetings on Facial Pain, as well as multiple subjects to local dental societies and study clubs. Sol is a consultant to the Veteran’s Administration Project Hero, treating our neighbors in Florida and Georgia who have chronic head and neck pain. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and is one of the few private practitioners who passed the written examination for Board Certification in General Dentistry. Dr. Charles Poblenz was born and raised in sunny Jensen Beach, Florida. After high school, he moved to Jacksonville and attended the University of North Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minored in Chemistry. During his time at UNF, he volunteered at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless as a dental assistant. His experiences in the clinic showed how impactful dentistry can be in people’s lives. After graduating in 2015, he returned to Jacksonville to begin his career. Dr. Poblenz truly loves spending time getting to know his patients and helping them gain confidence in their smiles. Dr. Poblenz is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Jacksonville led Dr. Poblenz not just to his love for dentistry, but also to his amazing wife and fellow dentite, Dr. Amy Poblenz, a local orthodontist. Outside of the work they enjoy adventuring near and far, finding exciting new places to eat, and spending quality time with their dog and cat, Beckham and Mr. Pickles.
