" Unexaggeratedly the best dentist I have seen to date, even after one appointment.Since I was a child I noticed the changes in my bite, teeth sensitivity, teeth shape... always thought it wasn't important since no dentist ever brought it up. Always thought your canine was supposed to get ground down to a flat angle, and it was supposed to feel sensitive on the tips of the teeth. Even then, the ones I saw weren't particularly concerned or informative about my teeth and I gave up.Today, on my first appointment with Dr. Melendez for a regular cleaning, without me even having to say anything, he started pointing out everything I was concerned with. He went through the Xrays with me, noted specific findings of chronic grinding, then gave me a mirror and pointed changes out visually.Really jarring experience. He went through it all, explained an overall picture of my current health, and was very informative about treatment to prevent future changes.The dentist I wish I could've seen when I was younger... would've saved me a lot of confusion and uncertainty throughout the years. Prevented a lot of damage.
