Dr. Tom became an orthodontist because he enjoys creating great smiles; He also likes working with fine tools. Dr. Alan Tom loves traveling and on weekends, he enjoys photography, music, and playing tennis.

Inspired by his childhood dentist, Dr. Brian Matsumoto is dedicated to providing kind, compassionate, and life-changing care. “A patient came to me in tears after not seeing a dentist for 15 years. She was afraid and embarrassed by her smile. Dr. Gordon Edgar graduated at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hearon enjoys the relationships she forms with her patients, the warm smiles and hugs when they leave the office, and seeing them and their families again and again.

She recalls seeing a patient diagnosed with oral cancer. “He was going through a difficult time in his life and was recently told he had oral cancer. To find out you’re losing all your teeth, that the shape of your face would change, its devasting. Being able to provide dentures and seeing the patient regain self-confidence…showing that there was a way through this, it was fulfilling to make their life a little bit easier.”

Dr. Lindsay Taira is a third-generation dentist who specializes in comfortable and personal dental care. Dr. Maureen Rizk’s passion for caring for others stems from spending time as a child in her father’s office. “I saw first-hand how my father improved his patients’ lives, and I always wanted to have a similar impact through my work” she said. Dr. Rizk dedicates her free time to traveling, cooking, and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Gill's motto in life is "Live for positive relationships…make our lives count by contributing to people’s well-being." Being a Periodontist provides the opportunity to contribute to her patients' well-being and make amazing friendships. For her, It’s fulfilling seeing patients take better care of themselves after their oral health has improved.

Dr. Wisotzky enjoys creating a pleasant experience while relieving patient pain and anxiety. For him, it’s an opportunity to make a small difference in lives, everyday.

Dr. Yunah Park loves transforming lives. “Seeing a sullen patient become a confident, smiling person is extremely rewarding,” says Dr. Park. Being a dentist combines her passion for artistry and healthcare; it “allows me to do many of the things I love. I can help create beautiful smiles while maintaining personal connections with patients.”

Dr. Ameer Eghbarieh became a dentist to put smiles on people’s faces — literally and figuratively — by relieving them of the discomforts caused by toothaches. Having moved to Hawaii a year ago, he now channels his desire to help and positively change people’s lives in the Aloha State.
