This is why Dr. Jack dedicates over 100 hours every year to continuing education courses and conferences. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Mell was born in Chicago where a majority of her family still resides. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from The Ohio State University and then continued her education by attending OSU’s College of Dentistry where she earned multiple scholarships and participated in research. After graduating from dental school cum laude with a DDS degree, Dr. Mell moved back to Chicago and furthered her education through the prestigious dental residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The r...Read Moreesidency afforded her the opportunity to expand her skills in all facets of dentistry including dentistry in medically compromised patients. During her one year residency, she traveled to Guatemala on a medical mission trip as the team dentist and hopes to continue mission work in the future. Currently, Dr. Mell is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. She places emphasis on continuing education and regularly attends courses and study clubs. Dr. Mell enjoys spending time outdoors.
