Dr. Barco is originally from Martinsville, but he has been connected to the Bloomington area for over 20 years. He attended Northwestern University before serving four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. After his service in the Marines, Dr. Barco started dental school at the University of North Carolina. His father was a dentist in the U.S. Navy for over 25 years, during which Dr. Barco had the opportunity to live all over the world -- from Washington State to the Philippine Islands and even right here in Bloomington from 1995 to 2006. Today, Dr. Barco is committed to providing superior dental care for friends and families around Bloomington. He was pleased to return to the area with his growing family in 2009 to begin practicing dentistry. Dr. Barco is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Southern Indiana Dental Association, and the Spear Dental Study Club in Bloomington. He enjoys helping people smile brighter through his work! Dr. Barco and his wife Amy have four children named Martin, Laura, Henry, and Robert. His hobbies outside of the office include running, hiking, learning about history, reading, traveling, and coaching youth soccer.
