It’s a family affair at Cope Dentistry. Susan (Paul) Cope is married to Andy, Dr. John’s brother; Lindy is their daughter and John’s niece. Susan and Andy also have a grown son, Bryce. Susan moved to the Kansas City area when she was in elementary school. She went on to attend Shawnee Mission South High School and attended Iowa State University for one year before transferring to Kansas State University. John is a lifelong area resident. After graduating from Shawnee Mission South, he attended Kansas State University, where he played on the tennis team and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and began practicing at College Boulevard and Nall Avenue in Leawood. John and Susan merged their practices in 2006. Lindy carries on the family dental tradition joining her mom and uncle at Cope Dentistry. Born and raised in the area, Lindy graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School, the University of Arizona where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and from UMKC School of Dentistry. Nick grew up in Emporia, Kansas and attended Kansas State University for his undergraduate career. He graduated from UMCK School of Dentistry in May 2024 and recently moved to the area with his fiancée, Annie. He enjoys playing and watching sports, spending time with his puppy, Reece, traveling and reading. Dr. Nick is accepting new patients!
