Throughout her career, Dr. Atlevski-Gates has practiced dentistry in Southeastern Michigan. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Chamber of Commerce. She is a diplomat of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Atlevski-Gates lives on the edge of South Lyon and loves being part of the South Lyon community. She loves supporting small businesses and looks forward to the yearly Pumpkinfest in South Lyon. She and her family love traveling and have set a goal to visit all 50 states together. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, swimming, biking, and hiking. Dr Rakas has taken advanced courses in dental implants with Trinon College Practicum, where her compassion and dental experience crossed international borders to treat patients in need. She completed a week-long implant training course in the Dominican Republic. She traveled to Jamaica with “International Health Care” an organization providing oral health care in places where it is rare or even non-existent. Dr Rakas realizes that every great smile starts with a healthy foundation. She focuses on preventive, comprehensive and minimally invasive dentistry.
