Dr. Kyle Skjei Read Bio

Dr. Skjei, (pronounced Shay), grew up on a family farm in rural Appleton, MN. He attended Augustana College, followed by the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Skjei served the Elk River community for almost four years, before opening his dream practice in Big Lake. He is the youngest of eight dentists in his family. With Lake Dental Care being a technology-forward practice, Dr. Skjei stays on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Dr. Skjei has world-class dental implant training, extensive cosmetic dentistry training, and CEREC (same day crown) credentials. He offers comprehensive dental care including tooth-colored fillings, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, dental implants, tooth extractions, pediatric dental care, dental implants, TMJ therapy, dentures, periodontal therapy, and other treatments to meet the patient’s needs. Dr. Skjei is active in several organized dentistry groups. He was selected by his peer dental professionals to be the President of the North Side Metro Study Club. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Frank Spear Study Club, North Side Study Club and International Team for Implantology. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Skjei enjoys being active outdoors with his wife Darcy in his free time. You can find him cross country skiing Lake Maria State Park, snowmobiling, hiking, camping, hunting with his lab Goose, and raising crops on his hobby farm. Dr. David Pachuta Read Bio

Dr. David Pachuta grew up in Eagan, MN with his parents and younger sister. He completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota. While there he competed for the track and field team and obtained All-Big Ten Honors as well as All-American honors in the 800 and 4×400 meters. He also qualified and competed in the U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials. Dr. Pachuta received his dental training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. " I have put off going to the dentist for around 5 years , went in here and was very comfortable . The sensitive areas they left alone and will do a full cleaning once I get some of the real problem areas fixed ! very nice and polite staff !
