Dr. Aniika Jackson-Smith is a native of New Orleans, LA. She has lived in Kansas City since 2008. She received a B.S. in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Dr. Clinton Johnson has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years. He is a graduate of UAPB in Pine Bluff Arkansas and UMKC School of Dentistry. He loves to travel and play golf. Dr. Johnson is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc and he attends Friendship Baptist Church. Dr. Johnson soon plans to follow his longtime colleague Dr. Shine into retirement.

After completing Dental Assistant Training, Brenda initially joined the office of Drs. Johnson and Shine as a dental assistant. For the past several years, she served as the Insurance Specialist. She brings that wealth of knowledge and expertise to MDA serving as the Patient Services Representative. Brenda is a former member of the NDAA and board member of the NDA.

Tisa serves as the Patient Care Coordinator. She was born & raised in Kansas City, MO. For 7 years she had the opportunity to work with the late, great Dr. Harvey Shaw. For the past 11 years she served as the Office Manager for Dr. Clinton M. Johnson & Dr. Lawrence Shine. Tisa is now a part of the Metropolitan Dental Associates, PC team. She loves to laugh. Rose Kershaw has over 20 years experience in the dental and medical fields. She loves the one-on-one interaction with the patients and getting to know them on a personal level. As a member of Sun Light Baptist Church, she serves as a Children's Sunday School teacher. She is a member of the Ladies' Choir and she also serves as an usher. Rose enjoys hanging with her family and friends. Her favorite pastimes are martial arts (Chinese Kempo) and painting.
