Originally from born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, My dental career stated when I was in a high school office co-op program. I would do front office duties to fulfill my program requirements. Soon after I was trained as a chairside dental assistant and when I became 18 years old I became a certified dental assistant. I love Dentistry, I know it’s my ministry to serve others and help them to obtain a great smile. When I received my license in Nevada, I worked in Public health in a school based program within the Clark County School District. After several years of wanting to return to the Public health sector, I am now the CEO/ Program Director of Heavenly Smiles Mobile Dental LLC. We aim to provide free or low-cost dental hygiene services including health education by bringing access to care to the underserved Las Vegas communities. There are many barriers that prevent individuals from obtaining access to good oral health. Populations we Serve are at- risk children, Veterans, elderly adults within assisted living facilities, daycare facilities, those experiencing homelessness within shelters, and community health centers .This experience has brought more joy to my life.
