Dr. Silva has been a part of the dental profession for a total of over twenty one years. He was first introduced to dentistry via his wife Christine in 1993 where he was trained as a dental assistant in the office in which she worked. He worked as a dental assistant while attending the University of Mass at Lowell and graduated with his bachelor degree in Biological Sciences in 1993. Dr. S...Read Moreilva was accepted into the Dental Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine from which he graduated and was licensed in May 2003. He also continues to train at the Spear Institute, which gives him the knowledge and skills to treat jaw disorders as well as complex restorative cases. Dr Silva, after completing a 6 month residency program with the Misch Institute, is now a Fellow of the International Congress of Implanologists. His continued training allows him to place and restore implants. Part of his implant training required using Cad Cam Technology and 3D imaging to properly plan the surgery in advance. Dr Silva and his wife, both lifetime residents of Massachusetts, moved to Wolfeboro NH after the birth of their first child, Serena. Silva Family Dentistry opened its doors on November 4,2004.His son Noah was born in June 2006. Dr. Silva continues to strive for excellence through continuous educational courses which keep him and his staff abreast of the latest dental technological advances, philosophies, and dental procedures. Christine Silva brings over twenty six years of experience with her to Silva Family Dentistry. She began her career as a dental assistant in 1988. During this time, she was fortunate to work closely with specialists such as Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Periodontists and Orthodontists.
