Dr. Schepis grew up in Kinnelon, NJ, attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies, graduated from New York University Dental School, and completed a residency program at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Hospital. Dr. Schepis truly enjoys the practice of dentistry and is committed to continuing the warm family practice established by Dr. Russo in 1987. She aspires to provide a dental home for her patients where they can feel comfortable and achieve the best possible oral health through education and high-quality, gentle care. She hopes to help all her patients achieve a smile they are proud to use every day. She and her husband enjoy snowboarding, spending time at the beach, bicycling, hiking, and walking their dog. Dr. Schepis enjoys being an active member of her community and hopes to become integrated into the Wayne community. Dr. Schepis has traveled to Nicaragua to provide dental treatment to those without access to care and has been an active member in school systems educating students on oral health. Dr. Virk has lived on both coasts of the United States before making New Jersey her home. She completed her dental general practice residency at Bellevue Hospital and the Gouverneur Health Clinic. She is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. Investing in Herself and Others Dr. Virk’s free time is spent staying active through cycling, barre, running, and leisurely walks outdoors. However, she believes a life well spent must include time spent caring for others. Recent charitable work includes her participation in the 1000 Smiles Project in rural Jamaica and Dental Brigades in Honduras. Family Life Dr. Virk met her husband while living in Seattle, Washington, and moved to New York before marrying him and settling in New Jersey. The transplant took, and they are now raising three children here. Dr. Buniak was raised in Union County, New Jersey, taking advantage of an exceptional educational system and the strong support of a large family to receive her DMD degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School. She has practiced dentistry professionally and devoted countless hours to helping others through various volunteer organizations throughout her 37 years as a dentist. She has dedicated countless hours of volunteerism to her local dental society and was the adjunct dentist in a dental hygienist program while in private practice. She was also the Program Chair for the Dental Eastern Hygiene International College in Jersey City 2014–2015. Experiencing Every Facet of Life Dr. Buniak’s athletic endeavors are impressive, keeping her fit and active despite a full schedule at JSC Dentistry. She plays tennis and racquetball, which has recently evolved into an interest in pickleball. Her love of the outdoors is reflected in her pursuit of biking, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving. She is happiest playing in the dirt with her herb garden, where she “soaks up the sun’s energy.” Dr. Buniak’s other outlets include voracious reading, baking, dehydrating fresh fruits, home-crafted beers, traveling the world, and living every day to the fullest. Family Focused Dr. Buniak raised two children in Morris County, surrounded by a large, extended family.
