Dr. Sergiu Stoica, DDS Read Bio

Dr. Sergiu Stoica graduated in 1995 from the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, Romania with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He moved to United States in 2000 and chose to complete his predental education at State University Of New York at Albany. During those times he worked as a Dental Assistant at Hudson Valley Dental Care in East Greenbush, NY. After applying and getting accepted by prestigious dental schools such as NYU College of Dentistry, University of Philadelphia School of Dental Med...Read Moreicine and University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Stoica decided to attend the dental school in the beautiful city of Buffalo. Upon graduation in 2007, he was accepted into a comprehensive 1 year general practice residency program offered by Buffalo General Hospital. In 2008 Dr. Stoica started working as an Associate Dentist and then as a Managing Clinical Director at one of the locations of Aspen Dental in Buffalo. In 2013 he met Dr. Genau and his wife, Susan, from whom eventually purchased their long established dental practice in Amherst, NY. During past years, Dr.Stoica further expanded his clinical skills by attending numerous continuing education programs. He is certified by Imtec/3M as mini dental implants provider, by Denmat as a Lumineers veneer system provider and by Invisalign as a clear braces provider. Dr. Stoica offers modern root canal treatment (rotary endodontics) and laser treatment to patients needing a wide range of procedures (gingivectomies, gingivoplasties, crown lengthening, frenectomies). Most of the procedures, including root canals, crowns and bridges, oral surgery, mini dental implants and dentures are performed in the office. When needed, patients with extremely difficult or atypical dental issues may be referred to pertaining specialists to insure a positive outcome. Dr. Stoica and his team strives every day to offer our patients the best care and dental experience so they can leave our practice with a smile on their face. Residing in Buffalo area for more than 10 years, Dr. Stoica considers himself a true Western New Yorker and loves living in this great community. " Always a pleasant experience from the greeting when I first walk in to the friendly conversation with my hygienist. I never have a very long wait from when my appointment is scheduled which is nice because it shows they value your time. Every time I’ve had to have work done, Dr. Stoica explains what’s happen and is very attentive to ensure I’m experiencing no pain. Great dental office!
