Erin (Dental Hygienist) joined Dr. Welch’s team in 2000 with more than 32 years of hygiene experience. She cares about all her patients and enjoys getting to know them. Making them comfortable is her #1 priority. Outside the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her dog, Kasey and cat, Krissy. You can often find her in the gym pumping iron.

Dr. Scott Welch always knew he wanted to be a dentist and feels lucky that he has been able to realize his passion through his daily work. A native of North Carolina, he earned a B.A. in chemistry and a D.D.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, starting his own dental practice in Greensboro after graduation in 1991. Dr. Welch loves what he does and enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. While studying for his D.D.S., Dr. Welch was a member and president of Delta Sigma Delta, the dental fraternity at Chapel Hill. Scott and his wife, Rhonda (his high school sweetheart), spend time enjoying Bruce Springsteen concerts across the country and rooting for the Tarheels. Dr. Welch likes to try out new hobbies, such as backpacking, motorcycling, skiing and sailing. When Scott and Rhonda can, they love traveling to places all over the world, including Europe and the Caribbean. Dr. Welch values giving back to the community. After reaching the rank of Eagle Scout, he knew that he wanted to be active in scouting as an adult. He has served as Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster with his original scout troop 68 of Jamestown, which he was active in since age 11. He has also held positions of leadership at the district and council levels of the Old North State Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition to scouting, Dr. Welch volunteers at Guilford County Adult Dental Clinic, providing dental services to those in need. Read Less
