Prior to completing his DMD at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, Dr. Powelson received his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. He grew up on a cattle ranch there and enjoyed working cows and the land with his family. Amber first began her dental career over 10 years ago as a registered dental assistant. Since then, Amber has transitioned into the Office Manager. Vicki has worked as an appointment and marketing coordinator in orthodontics and general dentistry for over 25 years. Madison is currently studying to be a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Yep, this girl is intelligent!! She joined our team in August 2023 and has loved being here. Making people feel extra comfortable in the office has become her passion. On the weekends, when she is not studying, she is floating on the water in her boat with a fishing rod in her hand, spending time with her boyfriend and her 2 dogs.

Isabel was born in Los Angeles, CA. She is a first generation Salvadorean and has lived in Caldwell County since the 1990's. Isabel is a graduate of South Caldwell High School and then went on to serve in the US ARMY. She loves spending time with her 3 boys, nature, and helping others. She spent the last 2 years in outreach and service and is now excited to have joined our team here at HFD.

This is Sydney, our long-time dental hygienist. She started her hygiene career in 2016 and has been with our team for the last 6 years. Victoria has been a dental hygienist since 2020. Since joining our team, she has loved meeting new patients and helping them feel better about their smiles! Her favorite part of her job is to educate patients on how they can improve and maintain their oral health. When she isn’t at our office, she likes to travel and spend time with her fiancé and their three cats!

Hannah has been a dental assistant since 2018. She joined our team as lead dental assistant in September of 2021. Hannah takes great pleasure in helping our patients and seeing them smile. She is happily married to her husband Jake. They are raising 2 fur babies Maisie and Finley.

Sandy started her career in dentistry 30 years ago. She has assisted in a vast array of different areas such as general, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Her real passion is in the fabrication of dentures and partials. She has used her extensive education, training, and genuine passion for her craft to help countless patients achieve their smile goals.

Haley is happily married to her husband Gage of 4 years. They have one daughter and two fur babies, Ollie and Gunner. She has been working in dentistry since 2020. Haley is quite the artistic and crafty person. She enjoys quilting, crafts, and baking in her spare time.

Harley has loved dentistry since she was a little girl. She had always found it intriguing. After receiving her dental assistant certification, she joined our team in July 2023. It is a pleasure for Harley to help a patient achieve the smile they want. Harley married her husband Garrett in 2016 and together they are raising their 2 daughters.

Tiffany has been happily married for 14 years with 2 children and 2 fur babies. She completed her dental assistant certifications in January 2023 and joined our team in July 2023. Outside of the office, you will see her snapping photos as she loves photography and spending time with her family.

Grace works behind the scenes in our sterilization lab keeping our dental instruments clean, sanitized, organized, and ready for use throughout the day, as well as, set up/break down of the treatment rooms. She is 19 years old with a lot of motivation to progress. She loves helping people, doing anything outdoors, and caring for her Australian Shepherd.
