Dr. George “Pete” Richards received his undergraduate degree from Lenoir Rhyne College (now University) in Hickory, NC and his dental degree from Emory University. In 1994, Dr. Richards relocated to Hendersonville with his wife and two sons. Locally, he has been an active Rotarian in the Hendersonville Downtown Club and since 2002 he has served as the volunteer Dental Director of The Free Clinics of Henderson County. His current dental affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, The World Class Laser Institute, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an alumnus of the Pankey Institute. Dr. Richards has provided dental care to people for more than 25 years, during his time completing advanced training programs and receiving his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Richards enjoys pursuing his journey in Shorin-Ryu Karate, having received his Black belt in 2009. Spending time with his wife and their sons, as well as traveling, are also favorite pastimes. Moving to Hendersonville with her husband David in 1990 was one of the best things she ever did! A native of Hendersonville, Wimberly has recently returned after living in Myrtle Beach, SC for the past 15 years. Jessica graduated from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. She is currently working towards receiving her Bachelors in Science Degree from the University of Bridgeport, CT. Jessica loves the relationships she builds with her patients by providing quality preventative care treatment. She enjoys all water activities, especially calm water kayaking and spending time with her family.

Evelyn graduated in 1993 from Fayetteville, NC Technical Community College as a Certified Dental Assistant. She moved to Rutherfordton, NC in 2013. Evelyn is very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of Dr. Richards’ team. Evelyn is married, with one grown son and two Dachshunds. Evelyn and her husband enjoy venturing out seeing the sites of Western, NC.

Jesse is an Asheville native and has been a dental assistant for over 30 years. A veteran of the United States Navy, Jesse was a dental assistant to White House staff including former President, Ronald Reagan, and First Lady, Nancy Reagan. Jesse’s hobbies and interests include antique collecting, arts and crafts, and long-distance running. He is also a professional clown, mime, and magician!
