Joshua M Millsaps DDS PA

Dr. Millsaps graduated from Hickory High School in 1998 and from the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. He has been practicing here in Hickory, NC since 2008. He is currently the president of the Western Piedmont Dental Society and is actively involved in continuing education and service related events.

Carmela graduated from the dental hygiene program at CVCC in 2004. She worked as a dental hygienist at Nags Head, NC for 4 years and has been with Dr Millsaps since 2008.

Tina graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, Arizona in 1985. Tina worked in orthodontics for 15 years and as a dental assistant since 2001.

Eve attended Western Piedmont Community College for the dental assisting program in 1979. She has since been a certified dental assistant.

Arden has been in the dental field since 1993. She has experience as a dental assistant, appointment coordinator, marketing coordinator and treatment coordinator. Arden joined our practice in 2016. Arden is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers.

Gina worked as a dental assistant in the military before pursuing a career in dental hygiene. Gina graduated from CVCC Dental Hygiene School in 2001. She also worked for Dr. Steve Frye until his retirement. Gina joined our team when Dr. Frye’s patients joined our office in 2014.

Aleisha graduated from Dental Hygiene School at CVCC in 2007. She worked for Dr. Stevenson for 8 years until his retirement in 2015. She joined our practice in 2016.

Dr. Modlin graduated from the School of Dentistry at UNC Chapel Hill in 1982. He owned his own practice in Viewmont area of Hickory from 1982-2008. He joined our practice in 2016.

Perry graduated from Brevard College and later decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Perry attended the NC Dental Assistant Training School in Charlotte in 2008. Perry joined our team in 2010.

Kayla joined our practice in October 2017. Kayla graduated from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School. She has been dental assistant since 2015.

Houa joined our practice in October 2017 as our Appointment Coordinator. Houa has been in the dental field since 2011. Houa has experience as an appointment coordinator and insurance coordinator.

Tori is one of our fabulous hygienists. She actually interned with our office during High School. She graduated from CVCC Hygiene program in 2017. She joined our practice in 2018. We are so happy to "officially" have her on our team, although she has been part of our family for a long time!

Veronica joined our practice in 2017. Veronica manages sterile processing, decontamination, sterilization, and high-level disinfection of all of our instruments and operatories. Is accountable for ensuring efficient, safe, effective sterilization for our practice. Veronica is also happy to help interpret for our Spanish speaking patients. Veronica is married with one great son. We are so thankful to have her on our team!
