Dr. Kristen chose to pursue her career in Dentistry because her mother is a registered nurse. She wanted to be like her mother and help people within the health care field. She knew she would be able to best serve the small town and rural areas in Western North Dakota by going into dentistry.
Dr. Kristen returned to Mott employed with Dr. Gjerstad’s Dental Clinic. She started her practice, Apollonia Dental, in January 2007 after she purchased the offices of Dr. Gjerstad and Dr. Stromsborg. Dr. Kristen continues to care for clients at both office locations in Mott and Dickinson.
Dr. Kristen has served in the past as a volunteer Catholic Youth Organization instructor for St. Vincent's Catholic Parish and dance coach for the local girls dance team. Currently she is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish and is the 7th grade youth ministry instructor. Her biggest love is her family. Her husband, Seth, grew up just outside of Richardton on a ranch where the family raised registered red Angus cattle. After graduating from Richardton-Taylor High School, he attended Dickinson State University on a football scholarship and played 4 years for the Blue Hawks. He works in the oil Industry.
Jack is in the 6th grade. He enjoys playing percussion in the school band and being on the football and basketball teams. His biggest passion is hunting and fishing. This year, he shot his first deer! He has also enjoyed many pheasant hunting trips with family and friends.
My babies, Carter and Anastasia are only 14 months apart. Carter was born November of 2104 and Anastasia January 2016. They keep me busy when I’m not at work. Carter loves animals, especially the cattle and horses at Grandpa Forster’s ranch. He enjoys being outdoors and it’s a struggle to get him back inside. Anastasia is busy trying to keep up with her big brother, Carter. She crawls after him and will soon be walking too!
As a family, we enjoy attending sporting events to cheer on the Mott-Regent Wildfire, Richardton-Taylor Raiders and the Dickinson State University Blue Hawks. They enjoy time at Lake Tschida, going swimming at the local pool, attending community events such as First on First, county fairs and parades, church festivals, visiting family and going to brandings.
