On April 22, 1889, a single cannon shot transformed the quiet rolling hills of Indian Territory into a bustling boom town, as ten thousand people rushed in to stake their claim to a new life and a new way of doing things. Within a few years, that boom town boasted conveniences older and larger cities envied: running water, electricity, trolleys, - heck, there was even free parking for horses and buggies. But despite all the contraptions that made life easier, people knew the town's magical growth came from an old-fashioned dedication to a better way of life - a commitment that rubs off on most folks who stake a claim in these parts even today. Over a hundred years after that first shot was fired, the pioneer ideals that built the Queen of the Prairie serve as the cornerstone of the Prairie Dental Group. By harnessing the magic of the latest dental technology with the enthusiasm of the Oklahoma spirit, the aim is to cultivate a brand new crop of healthy smiles. (And the parking is still free.)
