Dr. Benjamin Bowman, sometimes known as “the Singing Dentist” or on You Tube as “Rapping Dentist” is just one side of his personality you will experience when you visit our office. He admired that greatly which made his decision to come to this community an easy one. He is proud to make his professional home in Kingfisher and being apart of this community has been an experience that has far exceeded his imagination. Dr. Bowman speaks fluent Spanish, which he learned after high school graduation when he left the country for 2 years to serve a mission for his church to South America. “I was truly humbled by the circumstances and fell in love with the people as I learned Christlike service. ” His experience in South America further solidified his desire to be in the service/health industry. As a child he would make rounds with his grandad to the hospital where he saw first hand how much he loved his patients and how much his patients loved him. “I decided as a young boy I wanted to be a doctor, just like my Grandad.” He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he enjoyed honors including Deans Honor Roll and special recognition for his skills and knowledge in implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. After graduating college he spent 5 months in Arkansas furthering his knowledge and skill in implants, wisdom teeth extractions, aesthetics/cosmetics, TMJ treatment, and full mouth rehabilitation. It was fate that brought him to Kingfisher as an unexpected trip home from Texas brought the thought to mind that he needed to make a change in his life for his family to move back home to be able to raise his children close to their grandparents. Although Dr. Bowman got to spend a little time with is Grandad, he did not get to grow up around him. His family needed the experience that he was unable to enjoy. On this particular trip home an opportunity presented itself that a partnership was offered to him in Kingfisher with the Custom Dental Group. He jumped at the chance and is happy to say that 4 years later he was given the opportunity to purchase the rest of the practice and make it his own. “Because we love this community so much, we will be here for a long time.” “It is my desire that my patients can come to a place where they can feel comfortable and feel like they are part of our family and have the best care.” It is our mission to provide a full service dental practice which includes oral surgery, implants, endodontics (Root Canals), braces and general dentistry. Time is a most valuable asset to everyone. It is something that can’t be created and is something that cannot be given back. Therefore, when our patients come to us we want to provide a one stop dental practice where our patients will not have to be sent out of town to have procedures done then back to our office to finish procedures. Carrie Mueggenborg is our friendly hygienist. She was born and raised in Kingfisher and is raising her two girls with her husband here. She is busy with her girls’ sports schedule of soccer and basketball which keeps Carrie on the go when she is not taking care of her patients in the office. Kelly is our busy financial treatment coordinator. If she’s not at the office taking care of patients you will see her at sporting events supporting her kids playing Kingfisher Yellow Jacket football, basketball and track or doing her unbelievably great permanent make-up. Christina is the happy voice you hear when you call our office. She was raised here in Kingfisher with 3 other sisters and 1 brother. When she’s not at the office you will find her with her two rambunctious children, Ava and Brody. They keep her hopping!!! Our very own Greenfield girl…a daughter of a postmaster, there aren’t too many people in the area she doesn’t know. Kathy is a wife, mom and grandma. When she is not in the office she is chasing one or more grandkids somewhere. Whether it be to a ballgame or school event or just chasing a three year old around the house Kathy stays busy. Brenda was a patient of the office before she came to work with us. We loved her personality so much we invited her to come to work.
