Barry P. Levin, D.M.D is a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology. A graduate of Temple University School of Dental Medicine, he earned his certificate in Periodontics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Levin has been on staff at the University of Pennsylvania-Periodontal and Dental Implant Surgery Department since 1996. Regina Vayner, DMD, MS, MPH completed of her masters’ degree in public health in New York. Afterwards, she headed to the Midwest to complete her DMD from Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL. Dr. Vayner advanced her knowledge and experience in the practice of dentistry by attending a 1-year General Practitioner Residency at Abington-Jefferson Hospital, Abington, PA. During her time there she quickly recognized a passion for the surgical specialty and continued her post-graduate training as an Oral Surgery Intern at Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, NY. This time as an intern gave Dr. Vayner a true appreciation for the importance of saving teeth and preserving the patients’ natural dentition. She then continued her education in the field of periodontics, completing a 3-year surgical residency in Periodontics and Oral Implantology at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. There she also earned her Masters of Science degree.
