Dr. James Wood grew up in the Midlands of South Carolina and graduated from Chapin High School. He is a proud alumnus of Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering. Through the resid...Read Moreency, Dr. Wood was able to continue to hone his skills from dental school and expand his practice with a wide array of dental procedures including surgery, guided dental implant placement, TMJ and occlusal disorder treatment, sedation dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetics. He was also able to take courses in smile design and occlusion through The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, and complete Implant Educators, a comprehensive implant continuum course. Dr. Wood is dedicated to being a continuous student of his profession so that he may provide his patients with the top and current information and treatment for their dental needs. He enjoys getting to know his patients and is committed to helping and treating them like family. He finds dentistry particularly satisfying because a smile can change your life forever. Dr. Wood is eager to be home and serve the Midlands community that helped provide for him!
