Dr. Scott Rogers Read Bio

Dr. J. Scott Rogers graduated from Clemson University in 1998 and received his DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2004. After graduating, Dr. Rogers served with the National Health Service Corp. in Columbia, SC. While serving with the NHSC, Dr. Rogers was the Clinical Director of the Columbia Oral Health Clinic, which is a non-profit clinic for the homeless and indigent. Dr. Rogers also held credentials with the Dorn VA Dental Clinic, where he provided dental treatment f...Read Moreor homeless veterans. Dr. Rogers loves being a dentist and especially enjoys helping patients maintain healthy, attractive smiles. Dr. Rogers enjoys all areas of the dental profession and has taken numerous hours of Continuing Education in a variety of different specialties, including dentures, crown and bridge placement, implant placement & restoration, oral surgery, laser dentistry, deep bleaching and Six Month Braces. Additionally, Dr. Rogers is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Rogers and his wife, Heather, have two children: Kaitlyn and Jason. They have lived in Laurens, SC since 2006 and they are active in their community. They are members of Simpsonville First Baptist Church and they enjoy spending time together. Dr. Rogers’ other hobbies include camping, reading, running, hunting, fishing, anything Clemson and Classic Cars - you may see him riding around town in his Great Grandpa's 1968 Chevy Truck or Papa's 1974 Jeep CJ5.
