Dr. Ammons graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. He then went on to attend the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, where he focused on surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. " If you need a great Dentist, you need to come to Ammons Dental !These people are fantastic, understanding and caring, great attitudes and very professional.My teeth were in terrible condition, I have always had bad experiences with other dentists. " let me start off by saying that I love my dentist and the staff Dr ammons is the VERY BEST.I WAS TERRIFIED of a dentist then I went in I was so nervous litteral shaking.he was so gentle so compassionate and his nurse was so passionate as well I no I was the biggest baby but I honestly couldn't ask for better treatment there ...I highly recommend them I will go back for sure they have me for life..thank y'all so much
