Hey There, My name is Dr. Dani Gray and I graduated from the University of Louisville in 2009 with a degree in psychology where I was a NCA champion cheerleader. I stayed busy, cheering for the UofL Men’s basketball and football teams, and earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013. Following my career at the University of Louisville, I served as an associate dentist at practices in St. Louis, Missouri and Clarksville, Tennessee before joining Smith Dental in 2015. I gained the experience of building a brand new dental office from the ground up at Smith Dental and realized I had a lot of patients travel from Kentucky to see me. So I thought, why not build a dental home for patients in need? Now, I’m on this amazing journey of having my own practice, Renew Dental, and making my dream practice come to life. Ironically, I experience dental anxiety myself, and I always request nitrous oxide sedation during my own dental treatment. I completely understand where patients are coming from, and I will always go out of my way to create a dental experience at Renew Dental that is welcoming, inviting, comfortable, and accommodating. As an adolescent, I had congenitally missing teeth, which created gaps in my smile, and I was teased as a child. After visiting an oral surgeon and orthodontist I finally had a smile I was proud of and built up the confidence to join my cheer squad. It’s come full circle since now I’m helping to build that same confidence I received in others! I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I take pride in my craft and promise to be your personal cheerleader when it comes to dental health. Dentistry is not a job, it’s my hobby! I also believe in being a lifelong student.  As a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, 8 District Society and Academy of General Dentistry, I believe it is important to continue my education, as dentistry and technology evolve, so I can give the best care to my patients. In my free time, I love playing tooth fairy to my nieces and nephews, visiting the lake with my husband and friends, traveling, and being a mom to my precious fur babies! Sylvia is the organizer of our practice and makes sure we are covered day-to-day. She has helped changed smiles for over 25 years and her passion is making the treatment Dr. Gray has projected come to reality. She works with patients and addresses any concerns they may have to ensure a beautiful and healthy smile. Originally from Arizona, she is married with three daughters and moved to Tennessee in 2009. Chris is the culture king at our office. His experience in leading teams has brought him to be highly skilled at identifying process and performance opportunities and leading teams to deliver improved results.
