Jamie Pozega RDH, is a proud North Knoxville native. Graduate of Central High School, University of Tennnessee, Knoxville and ETSU, with a degree in Dental Hygiene. With over 20 years experience in dental hygiene, she has for the past several years enjoyed the opportunity to care for the great people at Fountain City Dental Care. Jan Tarver RDH, graduated from ETSU in 1984 with a A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene, and a B.S. degree in Health Education. She has worked mostly in general dentistry, but spent 5 years working in a pediatric dental office. She has lived in Fountain City since 1963, and graduated from Central High School. She is married to Scott and they have two wonderful sons and 2 beautiful granddaughters,and one grandson. Lisa Barger RDA, office manager, attended Tennessee Technology in Knoxville and received her RDA license in 1980. She has worked in general, pediatric, orthodontic and oral surgery practices, and been in practice management for12 years. She and her husband Don live in Norris. She enjoys hiking, and backpacking, camping and any outdoor activities. She has been with Dr. Stan since 2006 and after 34 years in the dental field has found a home.

Hailey McBride RDA, graduated from Tennessee Technology in 2009. She lives her in Knoxville. She has 2 years experience in endodontics and started working with Dr. Pozega August of 2011 and is a wonderful addition to our staff. She loves her animals, and enjoys hiking in the fall in the mountains and spending time at the beach.

Julie Laforlette CDA, attended Tennessee Technology in 1980. She has 32 years experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, her love for people and her passion to bring excellent dentistry to patients is evident. She is married and has 4 children and 1 grandson, and lives in Powell. She and her family go to Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Dr. Stan Pozega grew up in the small coal mining community of Logan, West Virginia. He received his BSBA degree in 1975 from West Virginia University, then moved to Knoxville in 1976 to attend graduate school at the University of Tennessee. After school and working for several years in Knoxville, he decided it was time to pursue his long time interest in dentistry (obtained from his dentist uncle in Charleston, WV), and subsequently attended dental school at UT-Memphis, graduating in 1989. Dr. Stan has been married to his lovely wife, Jamie (also one of his hygienists), since 1990, and they have a wonderful son Mark who is a Senior at Carson Newman and has applied at Memphis Dental School to follow in his fathers footsteps.
