Dr. Angie followed in her father’s footsteps after growing up in his Middle TN dental practice. She always admired the care her father gave his patients, and she discovered at a young age that dentistry was her life’s calling.
After completion of dental school at the University of Tennessee Memphis College of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Angie moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. During her residency,...Read More she gained an unspeakable amount of knowledge and experience assessing and caring for medically-compromised patients, as well as those with challenging dental circumstances.
Dr. Angie is committed to pursuing continuing education to stay on top of trends and adopt new technology in order to give her patients the best possible care. She is a member of the American Society of Implant Restorative Dentistry and participates in advanced dental implant courses in pursuit of being one of East Tennessee’s leading implant dentistry experts.
Dr. Angie received the Tennessee Dental Association’s Fellowship Award in 2012. This award, the highest honor the TDA bestows, recognizes dedication and outstanding service to the dental community.
Dr. Angie is a member of the TDA, American Dental Association, American Society of Implant Dentists, East Tennessee Academy of Dental Practice Administration and the Second District Dental Society. She has the distinct honor of being a fellow in both the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
Away from the office, Dr. Angie enjoys all that East Tennessee has to offer in outdoor activities. She spends time gardening, boating on Norris Lake and, of course, watching Tennessee Volunteers Athletics. Dr. Angie is an avid scuba diver, and she enjoys traveling to some of the best dive sites South Florida and the Caribbean have to offer. She has also enjoyed mission work in Honduras on the Island of Roatan.
Dr. Angie is very close to her family, and she cherishes the time she spends with them and her friends. Read Less
