Abby Pershke Johnson was born and raised in Devils Lake, ND. She grew up on a 1,000‐acre farm where she learned to hunt, fish, raise cattle, ride horses, and drive at an early age. Abby has been working as a general dentist at a federally qualified health center, the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation near Duluth, MN, for the past eight years. She is passionate about education/outreach and served on the Health Fair committee and the Children’s Dental Health committee at Fond du Lac. Abby and her husband Noah have a 16‐month‐old daughter, Sylvie. They enjoy spending as much time outside as possible, skiing, swimming, running, hiking, traveling, and exploring northern Minnesota. They help keep my life light hearted and grounded. Wanting to be involved with kids outside of dentistry, I volunteer with Make-A-Wish foundation as a wish granter. As part of the organization, we grant wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions in hopes to change their lives and make wonderful memories. In addition, I have a little brother Marcus in Big Brothers Big Sisters. Over the past couple years, I have been able to develop a supportive relationship with my little and hope to have a direct and lasting impact on his life. Children are a great inspiration, and with a little investment, kids can remind us how great life is. I am single 29 year old with a four year old Hungarian vizsla. He is an energetic and social dog that demands lots of exercise and attention. I enjoy attending live music concerts and participating in obstacle races/mud run events. I am an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and love to “Call the Hogs”. After completing the NYU Lutheran pediatric residency program, I plan to serve my community in a private practice setting. Ferishta Faqeeri was born in Pakistan and immigrated to the states when she was just 2 years ago. She was raised in Gainesville, Florida alongside her five siblings.
