Family Dentistry of Texoma

Dr. Steven Finley was raised in Wichita Falls and is an honor graduate from S.H. Rider High School and Midwestern State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dental Branch in Houston. After graduating in 2000, Dr. Finley moved back to Wichita Falls and joined Family Dentistry of Texoma. Dr. Finley has received extensive training in orthodontics. He is a graduate of the Academy of GP Orthodo...Read Morentics and the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Finley is a member of Sacred Heart Church and is very active in the Wichita Falls community. Dr. Finley has served as a board member and President for the Taft Counseling Center and the North Central Texas Ducks Unlimited Chapter. Dr. Finley has volunteered at the North Texas Rehab Center, and supported the Boy and Girls Club as a member of RIBS Inc. He and his wife Stacy have a son, Gram and a daughter, Aubrey. Dr. Pitts is a native of Wichita Falls, TX. He and his wife Sarah have two children, Luke and Elizabeth. Luke and Elizabeth attend Notre Dame Catholic school. Dr. Pitts graduated from Wichita Falls High School with honors and then moved to Texas Tech University with a scholarship to play golf where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology. He ...Read More has done extensive training through continuing education in Oral Surgery, Third Molar Removal, Implant Surgery and Restoration, and Orthodontics. Dr. Pitts has completed the Implant Continuum at Baylor College of Dentistry and is accomplished in Implant Surgery and Bone Grafting associated with Implant Dentistry. Dr. Pitts is a member of The American Orthodontic Society and has completed over 450 hours in continuing education in orthodontics to become proficient to treat even the most complicated orthodontic cases. He has also received the Achievement award from the Board of Directors at the American Orthodontic Society. He is also a member of The Academy of Osseointegration, The Oral Congress of Oral Implantologists, and The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. More Recently Dr. Pitts successfully completed the IV Sedation Course taught at the Georgia Health Sciences University, College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. He successfully completed more than 60 hours of academics with 40 hours of hands on clinical experience treating over 30 patients. The course meets and exceeds the ADA Guidelines for teaching parenteral conscious sedation. There he demonstrated competency in the administration of parenteral IV sedation and the management of patients being treated. Dr. Pitts is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he has been a Christ Renews His Parish Team Member twice and has served on an advisory board for a scholarship given by the church to parishioners attending college. He is a board member for the Association for Retarded Citizens charity golf tournament committee and is a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network. He is currently a board member and is a three time President of the North Central Texas Ducks Unlimited Chapter which raises money through fundraising to support wetland habitat conservation. Sandy has been with Family Dentistry of Texoma for 30 years and she loves her patients and her bosses. Sandy is a graduate of Wichita Falls High School and Midwestern State University. She has been married to Leonard Jay for 28 years and has a 20 year old son, Jay Paul, and three dogs. Sandy is a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoys music, boating and cooking when she is not at work.

Allison joined Family Dentistry of Texoma in May of 2011 and she loves getting to know the patients and her co-workers. When Allison is not at work she enjoys spending time with her fiance David, and nephew, Carter, in Arlington. She loves cooking and laughing with her co-workers.

Melonie has been with Family Dentistry of Texoma since 2009 and enjoys working with the patients and meeting people. She attended school at Burkburnett High School, West Texas A&M and Vernon College. She has been married for 8 years to Brandon and has two precious little girls, Ella and Emilee as well as 2 dogs and 2 cats. When Melonie is not at work she enjoys spending time with her children, shopping and going for walks.

Candace just celebrated her two year anniversary at Family Dentistry of Texoma. She is a graduate of Midwestern State University’s Dental Hygiene Program and she loves to clean teeth and getting to know her patients. Candace and her husband Cody live in Archer City and have a daughter Kadence and a new baby boy they named Kalan. When Candace is not working she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, participating in the Relay for Life and spending time with her family.

Heather joined our office in the Fall of 2012. She graduated dental hygiene school from Midwestern State University in 2011. She is newly married to Cameron and they both enjoy their new addition, a Yorkie named Zoe. Heather volunteers for special olympics and race for the cure every year. She enjoys other cultures when traveling internationally with her husband. She loves getting to know her patients and educatiing them about how to achieve a healthy mouth.

Katie has been with Family Dentistry of Texoma since 2007 and is a graduate from Hillsborough Community College in Florida. She grew up in Kunkletown, PA. and has lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, California, Florida and now Texas. Katie has two children, Alexandria, who is 9 and a toddler, Aiden. They attend church at Highland Heights Baptist Church. When Katie is not working she enjoys cross-stitch.
