Dr. Greg LaVecchia was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended Paul VI High School in Fairfax and then, in 1995, he completed his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. After completing a tour of duty in the Vietnam War, Dr. Louis LaVecchia returned in 1971 to open his private dental practice in Northern Virginia. Dr. Bobbio was born in Lakewood, NJ and raised in Fairfax, VA. She attended Fairfax High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a concentration in business from Virginia Tech University. Dr. Bobbio attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2010. While at VCU, she served as Community Service Chair and participated in nine Mission of Mercy projects, giving back to underserved areas in the state of Virginia. Upon graduation, Dr. Bobbio completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, MD. During her residency, she gained advanced training in all facets of general dentistry, including the treatment of medically compromised patients and the placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Bobbio is dedicated to continuing her education. She has served as a delegate, editor, continuing education chair, vice president, and currently president-elect of the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry. In June of 2017, Dr. Bobbio received her Fellowship Award with the AGD after completing over five hundred hours of continuing education and passing the Fellowship exam. She is also an active member of the Spear Dental Education Study Club, which meets with other local general practitioners and specialists to advance their comprehensive treatment planning. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Bobbio spending time with her husband, Ryan, and chasing her five-year-old, Gabriella, three-year-old, Gavin, and three-month-old, Giuliana.
