She attended University of Toronto and earned her Bachelor’s degree, double majoring in human biology and nutritional science. After graduation, Dr. G worked as a general dentist for two years before pursuing her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist. She then completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She was the chief resident and obtained the Pediatric Dentistry Award for her academic excellence and clinical proficiency during her post graduate training. Dr. G attends local and national continuing education courses in order to keep up with the advances in her field. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
