Dr. Brian, a board-certified pediatric dentist, grew up in a small town in rural Utah. He attended dental school at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio – Go Buckeyes! After realizing that pediatric dentistry was his favorite part of his dental education, he completed a 2-year pediatric dental residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a master’s degree at Ohio State focusing on the oral health of premature infants and children with special needs. He played basketball and football growing up and still coaches his kids in basketball, baseball, football, and soccer. Dr. Brian and his wife, Rachel, have recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest from California with their three children. If you ask him why he went into pediatric dentistry, the answer is simple. He loves kids! His first rotation in dental school was in pediatrics, and he knew instantly that nothing else in dentistry would be as rewarding to him as working with children. He genuinely enjoys laughing and joking with kids all day. He believes that instilling confidence and self-worth in a child can start at the dental office with caring and compassionate pediatric dentists.
