I wanted to know what could be done for some missing teeth and Dr. Gunnell explained simply and thoroughly my options. I found Dr. Gunnell and his staff giving the care that one would hope for on this and an emergency visit to his office.

This is about the 5th Winter I've seen Dr Scott Gunnell. His staff gives consistent friendly, professional care of patients... based upon my experience. Dr Gunnell is a master communicator....you always know what is about to happen and he readily answers whatever causes questions. The dental work I've had done from routine cleaning to crowns has been spot-on.

Love this dental office, went in and felt terrified because of past experiences, from time we walked in from the office lady kathy very polite and understanding, dental hygienist felica who is absolutely amazing she is the best at keeping me calm and did an amazing job with my teeth cleaning, and the Dentist Scott is so nice and they overly explain what they are doing which both me and my husband both loved so it wasnt such a stressful experience. My experience with Desert Sky and Scott Gunnell was the best I've had in ages- I was mildly looking for a dentist in the area, when an emergency forced a quick decision. And I got really lucky!! Dr.Scott is a GOOD dentist...sure of his craft, friendly, low-key, accommodating. What else can I add? He's young-ish, so he's up on all the latest info, and his office is really well equipped and comfortable (no closed off little cubicles). Even Kathy at the front desk was exemplary, even recommending a restaurant I might like. As for why I travel 45 minutes from Tucson to go here, well, I had that emergency on a Friday afternoon and not a single dentist in my area could squeeze me in on a Saturday- usually they were closed, or accommodated only their own regulars. Scott made a space for me that Saturday morning and got everything straightened out by Monday. And as for the distance, well, it only takes 45 minutes, which is less then getting across town sometimes. All in all, my husband and I are now Scott Gunnell patients, (and fans) and are likely to be coming here for years to come. read less
