Best dentist I've ever been to. All of the staff here, including the administrators, hygienists, technicians, and dentists, are friendly, thorough, capable, thoughtful, and professional. Five stars for sure, I highly recommend.

I have a lot of anxiety around dentists. So I was so nervous going into the appointment. Everyone I encountered was kind, compassionate, and reassuring. They explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions. The best thing was not feeling judged for any questions I asked or for not having the best teeth. From checking in to checking out I felt so comfortable with the people that work at Lake Merritt Dental.

It was my first visit today to Lake Merritt Dental office and I loved it! The best experience in the dental office ever with the hygienist Dana and Dr. Ohanian, and administrative staff. I will trust my oral health to them going forward. So happy I found this place.

As a verifiable Chicken when it comes to dental work, I can honestly give a whole-hearted 5-star recommendation to Lake Merritt Dental. I'd had such negative experiences with dentists in the past (pain, unnecessary work, etc) and was so traumatized I waited 9 years before trying again. She always takes time to explain everything that's happening and is very tuned into my level of comfort.Unfortunately I can't recall the name of the Dentist I met with, but he was also extremely kind and understanding of my 'traumatic' past experiences and made me completely aware of all of my treatment options.I really appreciate all of the work of this incredible team.
