McGann Family Dental

Dr. Patrick McGann grew up in Cottage Grove and Woodbury. He came to Lake Elmo after 10 years private practice in the west metro. He and his family reside in Bayport. Dr. McGann graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2002 and completed his residency at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Medical Center with a focus in Oral Surgery. Dr. McGann volunteers at the Hope Dental Clinic in Saint Paul, Project Homeless and is active in serving the local community.

Amber joined McGann Family Dental at the beginning of 2018 and has been in the field over 15 years. As a child she loved to see her dental hygienist motivating her to provide the same gentle care to her patients. Amber's passion for education led her to complete a degree in Dental Hygiene at Century College, a dental assisting program at Dakota County Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Metro State University. Melissa brings over 21 years of dental experience to McGann Family Dental. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them to feel like they are catching up with a friend at their visits. Melissa completed her dental hygiene degree at Century College after finishing her dental assisting degree also at Century College. Jean's interest in the field of Dentistry started early in 7th grade after watching a commercial for dental assisting school. Her years of experience are a valuable asset to our care team at McGann Family Dental. Jean believes in continuing her dental education and volunteering at the United Gospel Mission in St Paul and is involved in the Woodbury Community.

Annette combines over 25 years of experience as a licensed dental assistant with her administrative role at McGann Family Dental. She is a fantastic asset from welcoming patients to the office and helping them maximize their insurance benefits to training other dental offices on digital x-ray software and assisting Dr. McGann. She enjoys volunteering with a teen group and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She like to travel and lives with her family and dogs in the north Metro.

Chris joined McGann Family Dental in October of 2021 transitioning from a career in finance with organizations including St. Jude Medical and Carlson Companies. He started his career as a CPA with KPMG Peat Marwick. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in accounting and achieved an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. Chris and his family live in Woodbury and they are long time friends with Dr. McGann and his family.

Brittany came to the dental field from working with non-profit organizations. She has experience with practices specializing in periodontal, general and pediatric dentistry. Brittany earned her degree at the University of Minnesota, Morris. She now lives in Oakdale where she and her husband pursue their artistic interests and entertain their two cats.
